Varun Dhawan Takes Govinda's Coolie No 1 Badge and Announces Release Date

Addressing Instagram, Varun Dhawan announced Wednesday night the release date of his movie – talked about movie – the remake of Coolie No 1 which will feature the Bollywood diva, Sara Ali Khan, in front of him. The remake of Coolie No.1 will be directed by the director of the 1995 film of the same name and David Dhawan, father of Varun.

Announcing the release date of the remake, Varun wrote on Instagram: "Aaj ka Din, Agle Saal, Aega Coolie No. 1 – Hoga Kamaal !!! The first coolie day # 1 will be available May 1, 2020 He also published the image of a railway badge badociated with porters employed in the service.The badge is tied around the familiar red suit worn by official agents. This announcement has elicited comments from industry colleagues such as Ranveer Singh and Karan Johar. Karan wrote: "It's going to be a huge success!"

In the 1995 original, Govinda and Karisma were starring Kapoor as the head pair. Govinda plays the role of Raju, who lies as a wealthy businessman to marry Malti (Karisma). Over the years, the film has become a clbadic in the history of Indian cinema.

The remake of Coolie No. 1 will be the second collaboration between the father-son duo. They had previously worked together in Main Tera Hero, which was released in 2014 and has had commercial success.
