Verdict out! Total Dhamaal's Mungda was the worst remix of the first quarter of 2019 – see survey results

Bollywood is clearly in the area of musical fallout, leaving little room for originality. Old songs crushed with new foot-stomping music are raging, but there are few takers for it. We recently saw Karan Johar recreate yesterday's successes with Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani for his Student of the Year 2 project, and we are all delighted to do so. However, there have been some little entertaining remixes. We organized a poll to allow you to vote, the remix was the least attractive in the first quarter of 2019, and Sonakshi Sinha's Mungda clearly emerged as a winner.

Mungda – Total Dhamaal 30%
Original – Tu Mungda (Inkaar) (1977)

The original song of Inkaar was woven into the narrative and forms an important part of the film. While the remixed version of Mungda by Sonakshi Sinha was just another blind shot to add a number to the hit in the movie. And that has somehow ruined our nostalgia. With 30% of the votes, this song was clearly approved by the public.

Tu Laung Main Elaachi – Luka Chuppi

Original: The Laung Laach title song – Laung Laachi (2018)

It is clear that people still prefer the originals to the recreated tracks. Laung Laachi was photographed on Neeru Bajwa, Ammy Virk and Amberdeep, while the remix saw Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon romancing Luka Chuppi on the track. The Bollywood remix is full of cool moves but got a second place on our list with 27% of the votes.

Poster Lagwa Do – Luka Chuppi

Original: Ye Khabar Chapvado Akhbar Me – Aflatoon (1997)

This recreational track had little to do with the original song of the original Aflatoon song, which featured Akshay Kumar and Urmila Matondkar at a station. With an unprecedented choreography and the addition of a bell in the song, this remix was a disappointment. Poster Lagwa Do garnered 25% of the vote.

Paisa Yeh Paisa – Total Dhamaal

Original: Paisa Yeh Paisa – Karz (1980)

Rishi Kapoor was at the origin of the performance. However, the remix shown on the entire Total Dhamaal group was not much appreciated. With only 18% of the votes, this song ranks fourth in our list of less impressive remixes. Total Dhamaal has a total of four songs, two of which are recreated pieces.

Filmmakers will never stop recreating old clbadics, but we will continue to applaud those we have loved.
