Kangana Ranaut staged Sunday evening the hit night of her latest box office success Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi. The actress Queen was supposed to hold a bash on February 16, but canceled it as a result of the terrorist attack on Pulwama, in solidarity with the 40 jawans of the CRPF martyrs.
If the information is reported to believe, Kangana is now doing a double celebration. In accordance with DNA, the actress also celebrates the return of Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, captive to Pakistan for two days.
In this recently unveiled video Starting from the celebration, one can see Kangana appearing enthralling in a Maharashtrian avatar while she is holding her cute little nephew Prithviraj in her arms. She draped a white Marathi-style sari with gold embroidery and accessorized her look with a heavy headband and nose clip. Watch the video below.
Regarding the film, Kangana will soon be seen in Mental Hai Kya in front of Rajkummar Rao, due to be released in May this year. She would also be seen sharing the screen with Punjabi singer Jbadi Gill, Richa Chadha, Pankaj Tripathi and Neena Gupta in the Panga of Ashwini Iyer Tiwari . She also plans to work on a biopic inspired by her own life
In a recent interview with India Today, she revealed that she was planning a trilogy on warrior women after Manikarnika. "There may be one on Durgawati or Razia Sultan and there are so many," she said at the conference.
