Seth Rollins could be opposed to Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania 35 for the World Championship but at similar positions. According to one report, the match between the two heavyweight superstars was not the first choice of WWE boss Vince McMahon. An article in WrestleVotes suggests that Vince wanted Braun Strowman to defend the title against Drew McIntyre at Wrestlemania 35, where he would have the title of champion. Triple H wanted Rollins to face Lesnar and finally, he was successful, the pair being about to face each other.
Rollins took the opportunity by winning the Men's Royal Rumble last week. In the end, he sent Braun Strowman up and down to try his luck at the title. Out of Lesnar and Daniel Bryan, Rollins, unsurprisingly, challenged Lesnar in the attack on Raw Monday night, where the champion hit him with several F5s before leaving the ring. The likely reason for Rolling H's thrust at Triple H is the fact that he has already left The Shield for him. In 2014, Rollins attacked Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose to join The Authority. He will later win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship as well.
When Triple H returns to WWE in 2016, he turns his back on Rollins and helps Kevin Owens to win the WWE Universal World Championship title. Rollins would then make a name for himself and also impress Triple H, who saw the legend supporting Rollins again. ( See also: Stephanie McMahon Invites Becky Lynch to WWE Raw)
In all likelihood, Rollins will defeat Lesnar at Wrestlemania 35 to create a big surprise. If Lesnar loses the title, it will be the second time in a year that it will be deprived of it. In 2018, Roman Reigns finally managed to defeat him on his third attempt as he won the championship at SummerSlam. Previously, Lesnar had successfully defended the World Championship at Wrestlemania 34 and The Greatest Royal Rumble.
