Well, at least the trailer 'Dark Phoenix' 2 seems incredible

Nerd Alert: I loved the Dark Phoenix saga.

In the old 90s cartoon (plays the theme song), it was one of my favorite scripts. Jean Gray is Professor X's prodigy with a dark, brewing power, his love for Cyclops with Wolverine being the unlucky monster. The super powerful mutant who was good and loved by friends is now a god. Good memories.

Then the live action movie came out and it was cool to see the heroes on the big screen, but the movie was so … disappointing. Maybe the second time will be better?

Apparently no. First of all, the film is directed by the writer of The Last Stand, Simon Kinberg, and, as emphasized by the users of Reddit, it follows exactly the same scenario. Yes, I realize that it goes from the saga but you are allowed to change it. If you do not succeed the first time, do not repeat exactly the same way. This trailer has an amazing visual appearance (the magneto helmet folded, the guns spinning to shoot at them, etc.), but in the story, it's flat. The film was tested by the public and he would have hated it, which is why the film was rejected.

I do not know what I was expecting and I am always disappointed.
