Game of Thrones may be over yet, but HBO knows how to make its audience come back longer. The premium cable network has just launched Westworld's first season 3 trailer, focusing on Aaron Paul's character (Jesse Pinkman of Breaking Bad), who appears to be one of the main protagonists of the third season. After Game of Thrones, it's probably the other big budget series of HBO, which has been around for a long time but will finally be back on your TV screens in 2020. It will probably be available on Hotstar in India.
The trailer opens on a broad panoramic view of a futuristic-looking city. This is the first time we are properly examining life outside the park. The camera zooms in and locks the character of Aaron Paul, who is wearing a one-piece sweater and who is wearing a red box in one hand, which looks like a toolbox and a white box at the bottom. Another, which may be a lunch box. We also have his voice off, questioning the world around him and how, at times, he seems "like they put a coat of paint on it". The last part might suggest that Paul's character is a guest and that he is about to become aware, although this part is not clear. The scene goes quickly on a futuristic motorbike, which moves away autonomously, probably to park itself.
In the next scene, Paul is sitting on a steel beam with his helmet and a robot. , which indicates that he is a worker on a construction site. There is a quick plan up and down the inside of a circular building that then cuts to a woman sitting near the edge of a rooftop pool. We do not see her face well as she looks at the sprawling city as the sun dims, but we are almost certain that it is Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood).
We then have Paul's character looking for through the neighboring building in different apartments, while he's watching people (or hosts?) Go about their business. We then quickly approached Paul's character in what looks like a futuristic hospital room, while he's kissing a woman on his forehead, which could be his sick mother. The scene quickly turns into a woman walking in a fancy restaurant, but again, the camera shows only her back and blond hair – which is undoubtedly Dolores.
The scene returns to Paul's character who watches a suspicious application that displays various "jobs" to be won and the corresponding rewards. Of course, the higher the risk, the greater the reward. In the next scene, we see Paul's character explode when it's a building. So we guess that he opts for a robbery concert. We have also introduced two other characters. We do not know who this man is, but the woman is undoubtedly Lena Waithe (Master of None), who was confirmed to be part of the series last year. Another interesting detail touch is the unidentified man's t-shirt, on which the word "Bored" is highlighted, which becomes "Amused" when the explosive goes off.
We then have two different scenes that show Paul the character and the gang heading to some club to hand over the stolen goods. We have a scene that shows a flying car or any vehicle landing at the edge of a lake. We then cut to an unknown character shooting a revolver at Paul's character, while we were watching from afar at a blonde woman executing two people. This time it is very difficult to know if it is Dolores or someone who looks like him.
Injured Dolores finally makes its appearance towards the end of the caravan.

Here are some quick cuts from Paul's crew attacking a half-dressed man, Paul's character visiting a prisoner in prison, a car without driver crossing a pier, which seems to be a woman trailing a body in the dark night. None of these scenes make more sense, as they seem to be drawn from different episodes of the next season.
The trailer ends, the sun shines on Paul's face, as if someone had pulled the curtains or opened the trunk of a car. (That's hard to say at this point), finally cutting her arms to fall on a wounded woman who was walking. The trailer ends but not before revealing that the woman was Dolores. We still have no date for the Westworld release date, but only for next year.
Throughout the trailer, Pink Floyd's Dark Side of The Moon plays in the background. In addition, Paul's soliloquy throughout the trailer suggests that he knows that something is wrong in the world in which he lives and that he is looking for something or "something". a "to help break the monotony. It's always hard to tell what is the main plot of Season 3, as this trailer seems to be centered on the introduction of Aaron Paul's character and his life. Dolores will obviously be an integral part of the plot, but we have not yet heard of other characters such as Charlotte (Tessa Thompson) and Bernard (Jeffrey Wright), who also left the park at the end of the last season.
What did you think of the trailer? Are you excited for the upcoming Westworld season?
