The new film by actor Ajay Devgn De Pyaar De also features actor Alok Nath, who was named and shamed the movement # MeToo in India last year. Speaking of Alok Nath's casting in the project, actor Ajay Devgn said at the launch of the movie trailer, "This is not the place to talk about it." Several Twitter users are not convinced of Ajay Devgn's response and claim that the team "could have given him the information".

Ridley Scott re-filmed pieces of the film with Christopher Plummer, who was also nominated for Oscars in the category Best Actor in a Supporting Role. Tanushree Dutta reopened a decade-old controversy by bringing her allegations of badual harbadment against actress Nana Patekar, while several female artists and journalists presented Sajid Khan as a badual predator.
Several Bollywood stars, including Aamir Khan, pledged to become a prostitution professional. links with those named in #MeToo accounts. Last year, Aamir Khan issued a statement stating that his company had a "zero tolerance policy for all badual and predatory behavior".

Meanwhile, From De Pyaar From is also interpreted by Tabu, Rakul Preet and Jimmy Sheirgill. It is directed by Akiv Ali and produced by Luv Ranjan. The film should be released in cinemas on May 17th.
