BTS, the seven-member South Korean group, has been in the roller coaster for two years. He broke records and added new achievements to his achievements.
Very recently, they joined the elite group of global artists such as Beyonce, Rihanna, Queen, Eminem and others again to perform at a sold-out concert closed at Wembley Stadium in London.

BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan / Beyond The Scene) composed of RM (Kim Namjoon), Jin (Kim Seokjin), Suga (Min Yoongi), J-Hope (Jung Hoseok), Park Jimin, V (Kim Taehyung) and Jung Jook played in front of about 120,000 people over two dates for his expansion of the stadium's world tour, Love Yourself: Speak Yourself.
And now, they have added another feat by joining the 2019 clbad of the Recording Academy.
A member of the Recording Academy?
According to reports, the band was invited to join the Recording Academy, which will then choose the winners of the prestigious Grammy Awards.
They are among the 1300 other artists, music professionals, writers and more to become members of the Los Angeles-based Academy.
This initiative is a way to diversify the clbad and bring a greater representation of different types of music and artists.
Not only BTS, but even the CEO of their Big Hit Entertainment label, Bang si-Hyuk, has been invited but as a professional member, which means he will not be able to vote.
The Recording Academy took other steps to make the clbad more inclusive by bringing together about 49% of women and 51% of artists under 40 in the clbad of 2019.
With this new membership, BTS members will now have the privilege of voting for the upcoming 2020 Grammy Awards, considered one of the highest honors of the music industry.
What does this mean for the BTS?
The relationship between Grammy and BTS has been around for some time, and in 2018 they had a special conversation at the Grammy Museum.
Then, in 2019, their album "Love Yourself" Tear "is nominated for the best album. The group even came to present one of the awards, becoming one of the first Korean artists to do so.
This membership is therefore only one more step for the BTS to become a serious artist and not simply a tendency to pbad or a miracle in one act.
Their acceptance at the Recording Academy is also proof that the American or world music circuit now considers them as artists rather than a phenomenon, as their admission to the clbad is quite difficult.
The Academy receives numerous membership applications from various artists and personalities from the music industry.
The artists generally selected as members of the Academy are those who have sold and broadcast their albums in the United States and who are actively creating music.
Moreover, this membership is not sustainable, it is renewed every year for a fee of $ 100.
Some Armies are wondering whether the next compulsory military engagement of members could be an obstacle in this regard.
However, membership will only expire if the artist has not been active in the industry for at least five years. Given that the standard military period for Korean artists is only 2 years, this should not be a problem for BTS.

Reaction of the Army
