Just after the success of his latest film, Total Dhamaal, director Indra Kumar allegedly collaborated with Akshay Kumar for "Hera Pheri 3". The third edition of the film, which has been stuck in limbo for more than five years, would see Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal resume their memorable roles.

However, according to some information, the production of Firoz Nadiadwala would have been postponed again. Indra Kumar, meanwhile, has moved on to another project that will see him meet with Ajay Devgn.
Reports indicate that Indra was preparing to take "Hera Pheri 3" on the floors at the end of the year, but the film ran into another hurdle because the dates of the cast members do not seem to fit.
While some reports indicated that the director wanted to advance the Dhamaal franchise with the fourth installment, Indra and Ajay were currently discussing for a movie action.
