Why did Aamir, Shah Rukh, and Salman suddenly assume "old" roles on the screen

What do the three Bollywood Khans have in common – aside from their current struggle to fend off this increasingly dark sun in their respective careers?

With Salman Khan's long-awaited Bharat releasing one poster at a time, the three Khans now have in their bags films for which they have donned the skin of old characters – Shah Rukh Khan in Veer Zara (2004), Aamir Khan in Dangal (2016) and now, Salman Khan in Bharat (to be released June 5, 2019).

Like Veer Zara Salman Khan Bharat ] also, promises to be a journey back in time – divided between India and Pakistan.

And as we saw an older version of Preity Zinta in Veer Zara we will probably see an older version of Katrina Kaif (not much perceptible change though, from the posters). Posters published up to now are time stamped to give us a glimpse of the incredible journey that must unfold before us.

According to reports, for Dangal Aamir Khan went from 68 to 95 kg in order to tempt the character of the old Phogat – then again his weight is reduced to 70 pounds for the youngest character.

There is a reason why the "old" look of the Khans fascinates us.

While we see our Bollywood women transforming too early from one lady to another, our men have the privilege of being able to love young women up to their sixties, sorry, in the 50s

And now, with Bharat – the Khans managed to extend the chain.

Now the question is: who looks better and more convincing than an old man?

Of course, fans are divided on this – and the applause of Aamir and SRK will be applauded, as many efforts have been made to make them look old. . On the other hand, Salman Khan was designed to look old in a very subtle way. Salt has been kept to a minimum in its pepper and salt aspect.

The wrinkles on his face look natural and, although his "old look" sort of nowhere, we're encouraging Salman Khan for the moment. .

But here's the smartest part of the Khans' old-is-gold strategy – at least, it's something that new age actors, Vicky Kaushal, Ayushman Khurrana, Ranveer Singh and Rajkummar Rao do will probably not be able to shoot.
