The film "Pink", winner of the 2016 National Award, starring Amitabh Bachchan and directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury had already been confirmed as being remade in Tamil. Superstar Ajith Kumar will take over the role of Amitabh Bachchan in the film still to be titled and directed by H Vinoth. We will see Shraddha Srinath play the role written by Taapsee Pannu in the original film. The film produced by Boney Kapoor will soon be on the ground and filmmakers are currently working on the final distribution of the film.

According to the latest reports, Janhvi Kapoor, legendary girl of the legendary actress Sridevi, who impressed everyone with her first Bollywood album, Dhadak, will be embodied in the role of camouflage in the Tamil remake of " Pink ". The reports suggest that the authors are trying to incorporate Janhvi into the movie and bring the latest changes to the script.

It has already been announced that the actress Vidya Balan would debut at Kollywood with this movie. Vidya was paired against Ajith in the remake. Director H Vinoth incorporated some changes to fit the Tamil market and the Vidya character was also written accordingly.

According to reports, filming will begin in March and the film should be released by Dussehra this year. Apparently, Sridevi wanted Ajith to shoot a film in her husband's production. Both actors had worked together in the movie "English Vinglish".
