According to a mid-day report, SRK is about to return to its popular "Don" franchise. The third part of Don has been in the news for a long time and the fans are waiting to see SRK come back in the role of Don. The first part of the film released in 2006 became a huge success, followed by Don 2 released in 2011 and performed by Priyanka Chopra alongside Shah Rukh Khan. The film is expected to be screened at the end of the year in Malaysia, the report said.

The report quotes a commercial source stating that Farhan and Shah Rukh were looking for an appropriate narrative to advance the franchise and that they have now chosen one.
