AJ Styles launched the episode of SmackDown Live tonight by reminding fans that it was still the "home that AJ Styles has built ". He was present at SmackDown as part of the Wildcard rule where four members of one brand could invade the other.

Sami Zayn then came and he also participated as a wildcard at tonight's show. He apparently appeared in his free time to tell us "the truth" about WWE and toxic fans. The New Day then arrived, without Big E, and wanted to join the party.

Kofi and AJ exchanged one-liners before Kofi was about to offer AJ a chance at WWE. title, but Sami had a real problem with that. He felt that he himself was more apt to be a champion than AJ and that fans needed a champion who would tell them the "truth".

Kofi was not outdone and said he was ready to defend himself against anyone, even both. from them at the same time. Sami and AJ were up for the challenge and shortly thereafter, we learned that the WWE Championship's three-threat match was legal.

Ali vs. Andrade

Ali landed a super kick and more strikes before Zelina Vega's intervention helped Andrade to bring Ali to the ground.

Andrade and Ali were at the top, and Ali landed on a Spanish fly and out of nowhere, Randy Orton attacked Ali who fought back with a violent attack in the beginning. Orton then landed on Andrade and Ali before retiring.

Result: Andrade and Ali ended in a DQ finish

Shane McMahon was in the game after the announcement of new SmackDown team champions after the Hardy Boyz gave up the belt last week. The new champions were to be Daniel Bryan and Rowan, but the Usos were stopped before they could be formalized.
