Winterfell lives to tell the story after an epic battle

The great war begins. The Dothraki, Unsullied, Ser Jorah, Ser Brienne, Jaime Lannister and Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow on the Dragons are fighting in front of the army of the dead. Melisandra, also known as the Red Woman, arrives a few moments before the battle and gives the "gift of fire" to the Dothraki tribe, who is the first to charge. However, their luminous swords are extinguished in a few seconds. After a fierce attempt, all armies retreat to Winterfell, while Daenerys and Jon Snow revolve around Godswoods (where Bran Stark is stationed, the three-eyed crow) to watch the king of the night.

Daenerys and Jon Snow arrive. face to face with the king of the night and the dragon visceral resurrected. They are stunned to see the power of Viserion, which is much more than that of Drogon and Rhaegal. The brothers are fighting a brother now resurrected; however, Viserion is defeated by Rhaegal and the king of the night falls. Daenerys, at the top of Drogon, tries his luck and throws a dragon fire on the king of the night, who walked unharmed.

Jon Snow sees the king of the night heading for Godswood and the attack with his Valyrian steel sword. However, the king of the night resurrects the surrounding dead – the Dothrakis, the free and the unsullied – and escapes. Daenerys comes to Jon's rescue but she falls from Drogon when Drogon tries to break free from the clutches of the White Walkers. Ser Jorah comes to the rescue of Daenerys but dies while defending his queen. In a moving scene, while Daenerys mourns the defeat of Ser Jorah, Drogon also cries at his side.

In a parallel segment, the Army of the Dead crosses the Winterfell Wall and all attempts to light the trenches are unsuccessful. an unprecedented snowstorm. Once again, Melisandre comes to their aid by lighting a fire through her spell, which momentarily contains the White Walkers outside Winterfell. After a while, the Army of the Dead finds a way to pierce the lighted trenches. Everyone is preparing to cross the wall while the White Walkers are trying to sneak inside. Arya Stark joins the battle and she brandishes her weapon (recently made by Gendry) with courage and chutzpah. In a moment of absolute bravery, Lady Mormont kills a giant White Walker.

When the king of the night wakes up dead on the battlefield, the dead at Winterfell are also revived, including Lady Mormont. They infiltrate the crypts. Sansa and Tyrion take refuge behind a gravestone and share a moving moment – remember that Tyrion was the best thing that happened to Sansa at King & s Landing?

Arya slips into the Winterfell library and fights the White Walkers, who have infiltrated the walls of her house. The dog and his men save Arya Stark, who is threatened by the White Walkers. In the attempt to save Arya, Beric Dondarrion is fatally injured. Melisandre meets Arya again. Arya says, "You said I would close eyes forever and you were right about it." Melisandre answers: "Brown eyes, green eyes … and blue eyes."

At Godswood, Theon Greyjoy thanks his men as Bran Stark sneaks into a raven and attends the Night King atop the resurrected dragon. Eventually, the battle reaches Godswood, where Theon and the Iron Born fight valiantly. Soon, Theon finds himself surrounded by the dead and looks into the eyes of the king of the night, who came looking for Bran.

Bran tells Theon that he is a good man while charging the king of the night, who kills him in an attack. moment. ARYA STARK throws himself on the king of the night, kills him with his dragonglbad weapon and marks the end of the Great War.
