Written update of Kasautii Zindagii Kay, January 28, 2019: Anurag rescues Prerna; Naveen returns for Prerna

Tonight's episode begins with Anurag taking quick action to revive Prerna from his unconscious state. Anurag takes her in his arms and escapes fire. It's chaotic outside the Basu mansion, because everyone fervently hopes that Anurag and Prerna will be safe. At this point, everyone sees Anurag getting Prerna out of the house. Veena and Ramesh become ballistic when they see their daughter in this state. The doctor checks her condition and declares that she is not in a serious condition because she has inhaled some smoke. They put Prerna in the ambulance with an oxygen mask. And no one in his family cares to stay outside of the ambulance because their worries only last two seconds. A step approaches and turns out Naveen is back. He begins to tell Prerna how he came back for her and that he solved the problem that Madhuri had become for him. He also admits that he plans to avenge everyone who has tried to separate them. Meanwhile, Dubey and Mishka tell Anurag that he should not have risked his life for her. Komolikaa then asks Anurag where the engagement ring is, which makes him understand that he does not have it. Nivi also begins to worry about the disappearance of the ring.

While he says that he will do it, he will first have to check the state of Prerna. Mishka is unhappy that Anurag cares so much about Prerna. When Anurag approaches the ambulance, he notices someone who is holding Prerna's hand and immediately recognizes that it is Naveen. He shouts that Naveen is back. This alerts everyone from Ramesh, Veena, Mohini to Molloy. They start looking for the place but Naveen is already disguised as a fireman. Mohini then goes on and explains the scene from Naveen to Komolika and Mishka. But was not Komolika already aware of Naveen? Whoever introduced Mohini to Komolika was not it in the first place?

Whatever the case may be, the scene changes: Anurag hesitates to call Prerna to ask her if she is fine. Anupam comes in and help. He teases him first and then calls Prerna's phone. However, Shivani takes the call. Anupam tells Shivani that Anurag has tried to call Prerna but is too hesitant. Then they even exchange their knowledge of how they know that Prerna and Anurag love each other but do not admit it. Finally, Prerna wakes up and takes the call of her. She and Anurag then speak for a moment and keep the call. Creepy Naveen however, was hidden in front of Prerna's house.
