Baron Corbin defeated Braun Strowman in a match without disqualification. Strowman seemed to win the match after leading Corbin across a table with a running slam. But Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley came out with steel chairs and attacked Strowman. "The monster among men" tried to fight them but the numbers game eventually caught up with him. The trio snapped Strowman on the steel chairs and then pbaded him across a double table. Corbin then went on to cover 1-2-3 to finally win a match against Strowman.
Daniel Bryan retains the WWE title in a playoff game. WWE provides Bryan with a new big Green TitanTron as all his competitors head for the ring. Samoa Joe and Bryan started the game with AJ Styles, Jeff Hardy, Randy Orton and Kofi Kingston inside the pods. Joe was the first to be eliminated when Styles hit his phenomenal forearm. It finally seemed that Kingston would win his first WWE title during his long career as Trouble in Paradise, but Bryan once again left the table. Kingston tried to hit the top of the basket, but Bryan dodged it. He then executed the decisive shot with a knee in motion to win the match and retain his title.
