Seth Rollins battled his opponent Stomping Grounds, Baron Corbin, in the opening segment of Monday Night RAW. A major stipulation has been added to their match. Read below to find out more.
Following his defense of the victorious title against Baron Corbin and the attack of MITB winner Brock Lesnar, a powerful Universal champion, Seth Rollins, opened Monday night RAW. While he was threatening Brock to fight another fight, the wrestler was interrupted by Baron, who revealed that his revenge for the World Championship would be held at WWE Stomping Grounds. Baron had added a major stipulation to the contract that could be an advantage for The Lone Wolf.
At Stomping Grounds, a special guest referee will be selected by Baron for the World Championship game. Sami Zayn was immediate to offer his services and when Owins was mocked by Rollins, Kevin Owens advanced to defend his best friend. A main match was set up between Seth and Kevin to close the evening. During the match, Sami distracted referee John Cone, which allowed KO to dominate Seth. Zayn also prevented Cone from making an account in three that frustrated Rollins.
Corbin tries to make his way with a surprise attack on Seth but the Beastslayer takes a steel chair and attacks Zayn. Baron retreats on the ramp when Rollins hits Sami under the door, under Corbin's gaze.
