WWE SmackDown live score, recap, reactions (Apr 9, 2019): Epilogue

[ad_1]

At the end of the show, it seemed to me that, despite the title change of this episode of SmackDown Live, it all seemed like a grand epilogue.

The show started with New Day, which took place under an impressive giant balloon arch. where they basically said the things that every good guy / gal says when they win. Big E's moments of division were organic and really fun, and Xavier trying to describe how touching Kofi's victory meant to him was touching. Kofi also had his family at the ring and that was another wonderful time.

But here is the epilogue episode; it usually ends with a moment like "but the story goes on", and we have it too. The Bar has been shown stupid – sorry, still pissed off by their interruption at Raw – and it would seem that he wants to create the European Union or something with Drew McIntyre. Be that as it may, they challenged New Day against a 6-man mark at the main event and lost for their difficulty.

Other than that? Not much has happened. The match was perfect, but we are all at the end of the fight and the fight last weekend. So here is! It was good.

The Hardy Boyz are the team champions of SmackDown Live Tag

Here is the highlight of this SmackDown Live: the Hardy. Boyz had a singles match with the Usos and escaped the penitentiary with gold.

It was a decent match, but I'm more interested in what it means to go forward than anything. Does this mean that Usos are heading for Raw? This division is looking for talent for the team, so I would be extremely happy with this decision. As far as the Hardys are concerned, this may open them up to show some of the creativity that is lacking outside the WWE. SmackDown has some good characters currently to contrast them, but that could change with Shakeup next week.

I will say this – Matt Hardy has appeared visibly healthier in this recent comeback. Sooooo … let's see where they go with that.

Oh, and Lars Sullivan beat them. Brooklyn chanted "You can not fight it", but it's silly. Everyone knows that it's 5 star Lars in Brooklyn!

A great match of six men

Aleister Black, Ricochet and Ali played against the team composed of Rusev, Shinsuke Nakamura and Andrade. Yes, it's an absurd amount of talent. And yes, the match has rocked.

This is probably the best way to promote these list changes. "Hello fans! Look at six guys who could all fight for titles – they could go up the board in a week!

Whatever the case may be, the provocation where Babyfaces joined Black in his cross-legged pose was really cool. I've also enjoyed the finish. Ricochet hit a barricade Moon on Rusev before Nakamura caught him with a Kinshasa in the back of his head. Black then had Nakamura with a Black Mbad when he tried to get back into the ring, and then Ali sealed the contract with a 450 Splash at Andrade.

This is where the thought of the epilogue comes back. As Ali celebrated, Randy Orton seemed to hit him with the RKO. He wandered mumbling, "I can not see! And then Kevin Owens came forward to hit Rusev with a Stunner.

No story to tell. Just characters being, finally, characters.

After all, the show continues

The Rest

Samoa Joe speaks loudly, gets Braun Strowman – It was a fun cross and a mini-fight, but did you notice that Strowman Had some crazy when put with Joe? Tell me: to reserve is important .

The IIconics def. Brooklyn Belles – I am so disappointed by the fact that Icconics is a stinging fool trying to convince us that he is the best champion of all time beating jobbers. In fact, I am so disappointed that I am a little disappointed that Paige seems to be putting an end to this next week with a newbie team. I was already imagining a scenario in which the IIconics would fight undefeated Martian maniacs. Ah well.

I wonder who this team tag might be?

Shane McMahon is the worst musical leader of all time – That's all.

Becky Rerun – She had a promo where she basically said what she said to Raw. And then Lacey Evans hit her. You know, as she did for Raw.

It was a pretty fun show for me. It was certainly not bad, it did not matter at all, you know what I mean. This one was intended for the most badiduous ones who really do not need dessert, but who have already given you a plate and what will you do, refuse the dessert?

Grade: B-

In turn, Cageside. Who do you want to see changing brands in Shakeup?
