SmackDown gets A New Top Dog While The New Day Gets a New Member [19659017] The second night of superstar Shakeup debuted at SmackDown Live with the arrival of Kevin Owens and the KO Show. Owens spoke to fans of Montreal in French, then introduced his guest for the night, WWE Champion Kofi Kingston. Kofi and Woods came in and discussed his title win and then Big E's injury last week. KO proposed to be the third member of New Day and Kofi & Woods needed to see his dance steps before approving new honorary member Kevin Owens.

The Intercontinental champion arrived at SmackDown Live followed by his challenger, Ali. Ali hit Finn Balor with a Facebuster and hit him in the chest with a few chops.

Balor got a positive result and an inverted DDT. Finn Balor knocked down Ali, then attempted the coup de grace, but Ali stopped him on the top rope. Ali threw Balor with a Hurricanrana from the top of the rope. Balor eliminated Ali with a dropkick after a flip, then hit the Grace Cup.

Result: Finn Balor def. Ali

Behind the scenes, it was time for Kevin Owens to be introduced to the new day. Kevin Owens has to eat a plate of pancakes in 5 minutes and 37 seconds and he does it, albeit with the help of movie magic.

Charlotte tried to start with the Big Boot but was beaten by Carmella for a near fall. On the outside, Charlotte drove Carmella to the barricade. Carmella recovered and dived on Charlotte. She took Charlotte to the ring for a fall.

Carmella strikes Charlotte Flair with a Bronco Buster in the corner, but Charlotte returns Carmella from the ring with a huge Big Boot. Charlotte threw Carmella outside again with a dragon screw. Charlotte threw Carmella back into the barricade.

Charlotte was trying to get out of the barricade, but Carmella dropped her face. Carmella went on to put her in the ring. Charlotte hit A Figure Eight Leglock and it was all for Carmella when she tapped out.

Result: Charlotte Flair defeated. Carmella
