John Cena was invited to play in the ninth installment of 'Fast And Furious'. In April, Vin Diesel had hinted that Cena would have joined the cast of the film. However, Universal has officially confirmed today that the actor of "blockers" was a lock. We do not know much about Cena's role and the character is hidden. Dwayne Johnson will not be in 'Fast and Furious 9'. With the script written by Dan Casey, production will begin later this month. The film is scheduled to be released on May 22, 2020.
