The film is the latest X-Men movie to be released under Fox Studios and it failed to reach its goal. The X-Men movie hit cinemas in the midst of bad reviews. Movie critics have not enjoyed the film and this one has poorly reflected the ratings of Rotten Tomatoes from X-Men Dark Phoenix. With about 114 critics at the time of reporting, X-Men: Dark Phoenix gets a note of 22% on the site.
This is the worst rating for an X-Men movie in the last two decades. Before Dark Phoenix, Wolverine's X Men Origins was the lowest rated X-Men movie on the site. The starrer Hugh Jackman was released in 2009 and scored 37%. Sophie's previous release in the X-Men universe, X-Men Apocolypse, scored 47%. Logan by James Marigold is the best-rated X-Men movie in the series. Hugh Jackman's latest outing as Wolverine got a 93% score on the platform.
