Popular TV actor Mohena Kumari, known for Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, was engaged to Suyash Rawat during an intimate ceremony in Goa. Photos of the ceremony, attended by friends and family, were shared online.
The engagement took place on a beach at Taj Holiday Village Resort at sunset. Mohena wore an embroidered lehenga, while Suyash wore a sherwani. Among the television actors spotted at the ceremony were co-actors Mohena, Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi. According to an India Today report, Kruti Mahesh, Dhanisa Shende and Amey Mehta are among the guests.

Mohena confirmed that she would get married in an interview with the Times of India. "Yes, I'm going to get married and I know I'm going to take a long break when I get married in the next two months or something. But from now on, I know that I work in Yeh Rishta and that I will soon get married. I'm going to get engaged in February, in the second week, "she said.
She also explained how she managed to maintain the confidentiality of her relationship. "I am a very unstarred person and grounded. I do not fly high, I'm like a girl next door. I do not really think about the information about my personal life that was disclosed. That said, of course, I wanted to keep things a bit private because it will be an arranged marriage for me. I did not really want to talk a lot about it. I took care of that, and I felt I would talk about it when the time came, "she told TellyChakkar.
