In the previous episode, we see how, during the Mehendi ceremony, Kirti shares his miseries with Kartik. Later, Naira makes a romantic statement in front of the guests. While Naira celebrates their open-heart badociation, Kartik is constantly worried about Kirti's health. Just then, a small circuit catches sparks while Kirti and Naira are close. Naksh and Kartik both run to save their respective sisters. Seeing Naksh traveling to Naira, Kirti feels the distance in their relationships, which has become obvious to Kartik as well. Kartik feels guilty for being the reason for the distance between Naksh and Kirti. Soon, the mehendi functions cease and Kartik, with heavy heart, plans to leave just when he is stopped by Naira.
Naira expresses how disappointed she was with Kartik's boring nature, as he seemed too shy to express his love for Naira. Kartik's spirit is continually moving towards Kirti. Kirti wonders if she has made a mistake in sharing her sufferings with Kartik because she thinks that she might be the reason for her bad mood. Here, Kartik dreams of Kirti's death and fears for his safety. Kartik, in his dream, saw that Kirti was planning to commit suicide while Naira was taking her with her. Kaveri tells Kirti to go to Goenka's house and look for the haldi for Naira while Naira was taking Krish for her. Kirti goes to Goenka's house where she learns that Kartik has disappeared and wonders if it was because of her.
