The government of Uttar Pradesh decided Monday to grant exemption from the tax on the products of the exhibition to the Bollywood blockbuster "Uri: the surgical strike". The decision was made at the cabinet meeting in Allahabad, chief minister Yogi Adityanath, who chaired the meeting, told reporters.

"This is a film about surgical strikes.The firm decided to exempt it from the GST.This film talks about the value of the country and instil a sense of nationalism and Patriotism … It will help young people and all citizens of the country to see it, "said Adityanath.

'Uri: The Surgical Strike', written and directed by Aditya Dhar, is based on the Indian army's surgical strikes on terrorist throwers in Pakistan in 2016, in retaliation for the Uri attack that claimed the lives of 17 members of the army.

The film presents the main roles: Vicky Kaushal, Paresh Rawal, Mohit Raina and Yami Gautam.
