After launching applications like Spotify India and YouTube Music at Over the past few months, competition for streaming music apps is on the rise in the country. Introducing new offers for university students now on YouTube, has put in place a plan for students for its YouTube Music Premium and YouTube Premium Services in India. The new student plan makes premium services affordable for student subscribers.
All students can now have access to YouTube Music Premium and YouTube Premium at discounted rates of Rs 59.99 respectively. Students can listen and download music and ad-free videos on both platforms.

All students wishing to benefit from the "Student Plan" must be full-time students from accredited colleges or universities in India.
YouTube Music, YouTube Premium Pricing in India
- The YouTube Music Premium subscription is Rs. 99 per month per user. The iOS app charges 129 Rs per month and per user.
- The number of YouTube Music Premium Family members (up to 6 family members) is Rs 149.00 per month. The iOS app has a monthly value of 199 Rs.
- YouTube Premium is available for 129 Rs per month per user. That's 169 Rs per month on iOS.
- YouTube's Premium Family Plan (up to 6 members) is Rs 189 per month. The iOS plan is Rs 249 per month.
