Ajith is ready to play in two films produced by Boney Kapoor. The first is the remake of the pink Bollywood film, in which Amitabh Bachchan starred. Led by Vinoth of Theeran Adhigaram Ondru-fame, the project, tentatively titled Thala 59, will be released on May 1, 2019.
A press release from Boney Kapoor, which launches production in South India, confirms that Thala 59 have Vidya Balan, Shraddha Srinath, Adhik Ravichandran, Arjun Chidambaram, journalist Rangaraj Pandey, Abhirami Venkatachalam, Andrea Tariang, Aswin Rao and Sujith Shankar playing an important role.
Kapoor said, "As I said earlier, my trip with Ajith Kumaid started from the time he worked with my wife Sridevi in English, Vinglish. For her part, she wanted Ajith to shoot a movie for our production house. What began as an informal wish finally took shape when we mutually advanced by choosing an interesting scenario. I am happy to see that the project is coming to fruition.

The technical team includes music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja, filmmaker Nirav Shah, stunt choreographer Dhilip Subbayan and costume designer Poornima Ramasamy . and Boney Kapoor will shoot together another film that is scheduled to begin in July 2019 and come out on April 10, 2020, according to some sources.
