Ashutosh Gowariker's period drama, Panipat, has been in the spotlight since it was first conceived. In addition to its historical subject, the film also has a cast of stellar stars and the most recent actor is the veteran actor Zeenat Aman.
Indian film critic and trade badyst Taran Adarsh shared the news on his Twitter account. He also revealed that the 67-year-old actor would embody the role of Sakina Begum in the film. It is interesting to note that Ashutosh had worked with Zeenat as an actor in Anant Balani's Gawaahi (1989).

Panipat is also performed by Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Sanjay Dutt. Arjun does not neglect any effort to turn to the film and relying on the recent messages of the actor, it is safe to say that he works diligently on his physique for the role. According to media reports, the actor would play the role of Sadashiv Rao Bhau, Peshwa Bajirao's nephew. and had served as commander-in-chief of Maratha's army during the third battle of Panipat.
The film is based on the third battle of Panipat between the Maratha Empire led by Sadashiv Rao Bhau and the invading forces of the King of Afghanistan Ahmad Shah Abdali. The battle took place on January 14, 1761 in Panipat and is considered one of the most eventful battles of the 18th century.

The film's slogan, The Great Betrayal, sets the tone for the drama of the day. It is planned that the film, launched by Ashutosh Gowariker, will be launched on December 6, 2019. It will be accompanied by the remake of Kartik Aaryan, Bhumi Pednekar and Patanya Patand Aur Woh by Ananya Panday. Arjun will also appear on Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar alongside Parineeti Chopra.
