12 sets of MRT trains arrive in Jakarta

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com Silvia Halim, Director of Construction in Jakarta Mbad Rapid Transit (MRT), said there are 12 MRT train tracks at Depo Lebak Bulus in South Jakarta.

MRT trains are imported from Japan from April to December 2018. On April 4, 2018, two train trains arrived at the port of Tanjung Priok, north of Jakarta.

In addition, four trains arrived on August 18, three trains on October 16 and three others on November 14.

"Delivery lot On November 14, four of them consisted of three trains and arrived at Lebak Bulus Depot on November 22nd, "he said.

Subsequently, continued Silvia, the delivery of four other train series is expected to be completed in early December 2018.

Thus, 16 trains will arrive in Indonesia.

"Delivery lot The last five trains will take place on December 1st and will then be taken directly to the depot, "Silvia said.

A series of trains consists of six wagons with a total length of 120 meters.

A car is able to carry 1,950 people with a range of 5 minutes in rush hour. Meanwhile, the clock is not busy, the distance between sets is 10 minutes.

As planned, the first phase of the Jakarta subway crossing by Lebak Bulus-Bundaran Hotel Indonesia (HI) will be operational in March 2019.
