Having collected more than 1,000 bones since 2005, the badysis showed that Lisowicia was walking right, like other large mammals, such as rhinos or hippos. These animals also lived between 210 and 205 million years ago. That is 10 million years after the previous discovery of dicodont. Lisowicia was the first evidence that giant dicynodonts lived at the same time as large herbivorous dinosaurs such as sauropods.

This large lizard also has the characteristics of mammals, which means that it has evolved separately from the dicyodonts. These experimental researchers might be due to natural selection.

"Dicynodonts are exceptionally successful animals in the Middle and Upper Tribadic periods, Lisowicia is the youngest species of dicododont and the largest non-dinosaur terrestrial tetrapod of the Tribadic period," Niedzwiedzki told Newsweek recently.
