Bank Indonesia (BI) made an appeal to the public, which still had four rupee bank notes, immediately exchanging money for still valuable money.

Calls for the exchange of rupee banknotes were presented by the Bank of Indonesia by official Instagram account, @bank_indonesia.

The Bank of Indonesia still accepts the exchange of banknotes of different years of issue from 1998 to 1999 until December 30, 2018.

At the same time, banknotes were denominated in Rs 10,000 per year in 1998, Rs 20,000 in 1998, Rs 50,000 in 1999 and Rs 100,000 in 1999.

As of December 31, 2008, BI was known to have canceled and withdrawn the aforementioned notes.
