Jakarta – The Iris scanner is an essential feature of the Galaxy S series. But, apparently, Samsung would no longer carry these sensors in the Galaxy S10, why?
The South Korean supplier has added a number of new features to the successor of the Galaxy S9. Not only comes with three cameras, this phone will include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. And for this reason, Samsung no longer pin the Iris sensor on the Galaxy S10.
This information was tweeted by the @universelce account, which often leaks a leak about the latest gadget. He said that the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor was enough to replace the iris sensor.
Compared to optical fingerprint sensors that are widely used by many cell phones, the S10 ultrasonic fingerprint sensor would be faster. Not only is the recognition area also wider, reaching almost 30% of the entire screen.
Adding a @universelce account, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor will be available exclusively for the Galaxy S10. At least halfway through the year 2019.
Apparently, the Galaxy S10 will be present in three models, namely 5.8 inches, 6.1 inches and 6.4 inches. The latter model uses three rear cameras and a lower screen print.
The camera itself is similar to the Galaxy S9 + and measures a 12 MP wide angle and a 12 MP telephoto. But Samsung adds a 120-degree ultra wide angle lens with a size of 16 MP.
According to some information, Samsung will introduce this mobile phone during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event. The exhibition will be held in February of next year. (afr / afr)
