One of WhatsApp's managers, Neeraj Arora, left the company after spending seven years there.
Arora left WhatsApp after holding her last position as General Manager of Business. He announced his resignation Monday (26/11), as the Telegraph said.
On his Facebook account, Arora said he wanted to "relax and spend time with his family".
"It's time to move forward, I'm very proud that WhatsApp continues to touch people in many ways every day.I am sure that WhatsApp will remain simple, secure and will become a trusted communication product. in the coming years, "he said.
Arora followed the WhatsApp founders, Brian Acton and Jan Koum, who had left WhatsApp, which Facebook had bought for $ 22 billion in 2014.
Koum left in April, probably due to an argument with Facebook due to personal data issues and his intention to reduce encryption. Acton left WhatsApp in September 2017.
A few months ago, it was revealed that Acton had rejected Mark Zuckerberg's plan to withdraw revenue from the service.
In an interview with Forbes, Acton said Facebook executives were people representing businessmen and policy makers that he did not approve.
In fact, at that time, he had also asked users to "delete Facebook" when the Cambridge Analytica scandal surfaced.
Facebook also acquired the Instagram photo sharing platform in 2012. The two founders of Instagram, last month, announced their intention to leave Facebook.
