Liputan6.com, Yogyakarta – A group of students from the UGM, through the startup of Majatech, has developed a mobile application for health in the form of a bracelet. They called him Kanafit.

Kanafit means bracelets, taken from Sanskrit, which represent their form of discovery. This app can measure a number of important health indicators, such as pulse, blood pressure, number of steps and calories burned only with smart band and a touch on the inside smartphone.

"We need about four months, since last March, to carry out the exploration and manufacturing of applications, while for the devices, it always uses third party supplies", has said Tri Yunianta, student of the program of studies in electronics and instrumentation UGM, developer Kanafit,.

Although this is only the initial stage, this app helps many people to monitor their health, their friends and loved ones remotely. In fact, parents who are older and who are not with their children can be equipped with a smart bracelet and supervised real time health conditions through this application.

He said, this application can also be applied in the medical world. This bracelet can be worn in the hands of hospitalized patients.

"The health data can be monitored via this app," said the UGM student.

This app also provides articles related to multiple health sites, so that users can find recommendations for improving their health. Currently, the new Kanafit application can be downloaded from linkugm.id/Kanafit.
