Opening of the Sragen-Ngawi toll road, another national strategic project completed

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) inaugurated the Sragen-Ngawi toll road, which is part of the Solo-Ngawi toll road.

The inauguration took place on Wednesday morning (28/11/2018) at km 538, rest stop of Solo-Ngawi toll road, Ngrampal, Sragen, Central Java.

The Solo-Ngawi toll road is one of the National Strategic Projects (NSPs) completed this year.

According to Presidential Rule No. 56 of 2018 of the Republic of Indonesia on the Accelerated Implementation of National Strategic Projects, 227 projects are on the NSP list.

The NSP includes toll roads, non-toll roads, rail infrastructure and facilities, airports, ports, housing, oil refineries, gas pipelines, drinking water supply, dykes waters, dams and irrigation networks, as well as various other projects.

Previously, 20 projects were completed in 2016. In 2017, 10 projects were completed.

"The government has completed 30 NHPs for the 2016-2017 period worth Rs 94.8 billion," said President Joko Widodo, Kompas.comOn Wednesday (23/05/2018).

The completed NHP includes toll roads, airports, dams and irrigation cbads.

For information, the Solo-Ngawi toll road extends for 90.43 kilometers and is part of the Trans-Java toll road.

The toll road operates as a link from the west, namely the Semarang-Solo toll road on 72.6 kilometers and east, namely the Ngawi-Kertosono toll road 87 meters long. kilometers.

The operation of the Solo-Ngawi toll road is expected to reduce travel time by up to 50% and improve connectivity of the surrounding areas, namely Boyolali Regency, Surakarta City, Karanganyar Regency. and the regency of Sragen in central Java; and Ngawi district in East Java.
