He invited the whole community, especially the village chief, to get up to build Langkat because this area has a considerable potential for natural resources. There is a lot of gas, oil, agriculture and plantations.
"But why can not we do it, where are we?" he asked.

Edy asked that in the future this change. The grandchildren of northern Sumatra, especially those in this region, can not be as difficult as they are now.
He who has the vision of the agrarian north of Sumatra hopes that Langkat will revive his agriculture. Such conditions must change, life in the West End District, north of Sumatra, must return to agriculture.
With regard to the village funds, Edy said that the best interests and well-being of the community must be used.
To the elected regents and deputy regents, namely Terbit Rencana and Syah Afandin, Edy advised to always remain compact and always grateful for the blessings given by Allah.
"He said, the village received 1 billion rupees, the village chief did not play.Thanks God, have fun, do not let yourself become the first person to go to hell.I will come back for see what happened, I will come directly to the village, "he says.
Langkat Regent Ngogesa Sitepu hopes that the arrival of Edy will make Langkat a worthy neighborhood.
"It's an honor for us all, in the ranks of the government and people of Langkat Regency, thank you, governor, for coming," Ngogesa said.
