However, it appears that Edy's retrograde claim, Ketsi PSSI, was rejected by Exco.
Because Edy had refused when there was a bookmaker to bribe PSSI with 1.5 trillion rupees in cash.
"Me and Gusti Randa (Exco PSSI) witnessed that Mr. Edy had the chance to resign from the PSSI presidency, but eventually we banned him and asked him to stay," said Refrizal.
After being rejected by Exco PSSI, Edy had the opportunity to talk to the provincial badociation (Asprov) PSSI to request a resignation.
The man who was also governor of North Sumatra gathered the Asprov PSSI at the Sultan Hotel in Senayan in central Jakarta.
"At that time, all Asprov's PSSIs were compact and refused to ask Pak Edy to survive because he had rejected the bookmakers who wanted to bribe him," said Refrizal.
"Pak Edy is the stronghold of our football because he has a firm attitude," concluded Refrizal.
Currently, the Indonesian people want Edy to run for president of PSSI.
This is because of the achievements of the Indonesian national team that have been considered failures in all events this year.
