Another official WhatsApp is going

JAKARTA – After a number of high-ranking officials who had lagged behind, WhatsApp again loses its executive, Neeraj Arora.

Arora left WhatsApp after seven years in the company with her last position as a sales manager. He was even named number four of the company.

Through his Facebook account, Arora writes that he wants to rejuvenate himself and spend time with his family.

"I have been fortunate to be able to work with a small group of talented people and to see how magical it is to create something that attracts billions of people," he told the Telegraph. Wednesday (28/11/2018).

The departure of Arora followed the two founders of WhatsApp, Brian Acton and Jan Koum, who had left the company.

Koum then left WhatsApp on Arpil, apparently due to discussions with Facebook about personal data issues and plans to reduce encryption on the platform. While Acton left WhatsApp last year.

It was recently revealed that Acton had rejected Mark Zukerberg's plan to draw opinions from the platform. In an interview, Acton said that Facebook executives were people representing businessmen and policy makers he had not approved.

In fact, Acton also asked consumers to "delete Facebook" during the Cambridge Analytica scandal.

As information, Facebook acquired WhatsApp in 2014 for a value of 22 billion USD. Facebook also acquired Instagram, a photo-sharing application in 2012. The two founders of Instagram, Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger, also declared their withdrawal from Facebook.
