The amateur tournament "Mobile Legends" takes place, for a total price of 185 million rupees

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Cellular operator Smartfren organizes a Mobile Legends game tournament. This tournament was achieved through cooperation with the electronic sports supplier Yamisok, with the allure of a total price of 185 million rupees.

The mechanism of the Mobile Legends tournament organized by Smartfrem-Yamisok uses the concept of points and ranking. Every day, an online contest will be organized with a daily prize of 1 million IDR. Winners get points accumulated on the leaderboard.

This competition model is called being able to capture teams with higher points, competing in the next stage.

Diana Tjong, director of marketing at Yamisok, explained the uniqueness of the tournament mechanism with the concept of points and ranking.

Each month, 64 teams with the highest level of performance participated in the last monthly event, also online.

Later, for 3 months, from December 2018 to March 2019, the tournament takes place, the team that is still perched in the top 60 ranking will be competing in the Grand Final, with off-line battles for prizes totaling 185 million rupees.
