A camat and two policemen killed KKB in Torere Papua district

JAYAPURA, KOMPAS.com – The shooting action by the armed group Kriminal (KKB) in Papua who said that the death toll continues to occur.

This brutal action of KKB group was produced in Torere district, Puncak Regency, Papua, Wednesday (27/6/2016) around 16:00 WIT. As a result of this incident, the sub-district chief and two police officers were shot dead.

The name of the deceased is Obaja Froaro (District / District Torere), Ipda Jesayas H Nusi (KBO Binmas Puncak Jaya) and Brigpol Sinton Kabarek (Ba Sat Sabara Puncak Jaya).

In addition, there are still three police officers named Brigpol Yusuf Toding, Brigpol Mulyadi and Brigadier Peter Imbiri, who until now have not been known of his existence.

While four other police officers named Bripka Max Anjoderin, Brigpol's Steven Auparay, Bripda Daniel Tambunan and Bripda Firmansa, survived the KKB group's attack.

The public relations officer, Papua Police Commissioner, Ahmad Mustofa Kamal, confirmed the incident. "Yes, indeed, the KKB group reacts and swallows the victims of the police and a camat," he said, Thursday morning (28/06/2018).

Kamal explained that the timeline of the incident had started at around 11:30 am WIT from Torere to TPS Douw 2, after making the election for Hulu District and returning to Torere District using two speed boad .

"Then the first motorboat was embarked by the community, then the second boat was embarked by the Toried sub-district and the Puncak Jaya security officer," he said.

On the way, Kamal continued, precisely at 16:00 WIT, KKB Group to make a block from the edge of the river's cliffs against the surrounding.

"The first motorboat that was boarded by the community managed to escape while the Camat's high-speed boat and members were firing from the ground," he said.

According to Kamal, the shooting was known only around 23:00 in the morning by the police after receiving reports from residents.

According to the information obtained by the police, up to 1 type weapon SSI and AK 101 would have been taken by the KKB group. But the Papua police continue to ensure the existence of these weapons.

"For weapons, we have not been able to tell if they were taken or derived in the river," he said.

Kamal baderted that the location of the incident is the Torere District included in the regency of Puncak is bordered by the district of Douw in Mamberamo Raya Regency.

"So, not much information related to the manipulation of shooting there, given the location of the incident, there is absolutely no communication signal," was -he says.
