JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Not so long ago, Bank Sahabat Sampoerna and Alfamart were sued for copying the copyright of Sampoerna AlfaKU Savings (SAKU / TASAKU Savings).

This claim was filed by Bambang Widodo and Endang Trido R. S. because the plaintiff felt that my duties were the result of a plagiarism of his book titled Tabungan Anak Pintar Indonesia (TAPI).

In response to the complaint, the management of Bank Sampoerna found that the claim was unfounded.

"The management of Bank Sampoerna considers the complaint to be unfounded and my bag is based on Financial Regulation Authority (POJK) Regulation No. 19 / POJK.03 / 2014 concerning Laku Pandai," said Ridy Sudarma, head of Corporate Communications and Investor Relations of Sampoerna Bank in a statement Monday (22/04/2019).

"Laku Pandai is a program of financial service providers based on cooperation with bank agents," said Ridy.

Despite this, Ridy stated that Bank Sampoerna respected and would follow all applicable legal procedures. Indeed, the bank Sampoerna has appointed a legal adviser in this case.

"We believe that Bank Sampoerna does not violate any provision, because from the outset, the wording of TASAKU complied with all the rules and procedures in effect," Ridy said.

At the same time, the director of Corporate Communication, Alfamart Nurahman, said the problem was not resolved yet. An examination of the legal documents of each party took place today in the Central District Court of Jakarta.

"This is still the initial process.Today, the agenda for reviewing the legal documents of each party, there has been no development", Nurahman told Kompas.com on Monday (22.04.2019).

This issue is on the list of IPR cases number 18 / Pdt.Sus-HKI / Cipta / 2019 / PN Niaga Jkt.Pst in Jakarta Central District Court.

It is known that if plagiarism is proven, the plaintiff claimed compensation in the amount of Rs 15 billion, with details of material compensation of Rs 5.59 billion and non-material compensation of Rs 10 billion. .
