Jakarta – The meeting of the Minister for the Coordination of Economic Affairs, Darmin Nasution, with representatives Pertamina Boss and PLN Boss addresses the application of 20% biodiesel (B20).
PT PLN's director (Persero), Sofya Basir, said the discussion focused more on the application of electricity generation.
"Talk about B20, Tuh asked Pertamina," Sofya Basir told the Ministry of Economic Affairs Coordination in Jakarta on Wednesday (28.11.2018).
Sofyan indicated that the implementation of B20 in PLN plants could not be achieved as a whole, especially in rural or outermost areas.
"Some facilities are impossible. The aerodynamic derivatives plant can not.Sometimes there is no gas supply. We use high speed diesel as it is the best effort possible, "he explained.
The reason the B20 can not be applied to PLN plants from the inside is that access is difficult to reach and the operational costs of the mandatory program are more expensive.
"In the sense that the word will be much more expensive in the end.Transport costs and so on.Suppose that the smallest departure in the east, NTT, in Inner Papua, is to bring the B20 there. low, it is very difficult. This is not effective.
He also said that one of the efforts to build power plants in remote areas can be modified with the new renewable energy (EBT).
In addition, Sofyan also reported that all the power plants in Sumatra and Java had all applied B20. (DNA / DNA)
