Currently, according to Anies, there are 3.1 million motorcycles. About 50 percent did not pay taxes, arrears amounting to 463 billion rupiahs. Meanwhile, four – wheeled vehicles that have not yet paid taxes, either 748 thousand or thirty percent of the total.

"So, the total of all taxes on motor vehicles that should have been paid, the total outstanding is Rp1.6 trillion Rp6.6 billion, so there is 44.6% of motor vehicles in Jakarta who have not yet paid taxes ".

Anies said the tax is an obligation that must be fulfilled by citizens. Because, almost every day, citizens use a motor vehicle.

The inhabitants also cross the streets of the capital, by car or motorbike. For this reason, citizens are expected to contribute to development through taxes.

"To be able to take care of all this, taxes are very necessary, so we hope, when there is an exemption from administrative sanction, then these arrears can be settled without being hampered by obstacles," he said. he said.
