KOMPAS.com – The commercial performance of the 2018 iPhone trio released last September was described as unsatisfactory. Even some time ago, the news was spreading, Apple will reduce the third production of this iPhone due to lack of demand.

Noting this poor performance, badysts at Wedbush Securities Company, Daniel Ives, felt that Apple was to make a number of changes to the iPhone in 2019.

He said the most rational solution is to reduce prices or review the design of the iPhone.

"We believe that Apple must seriously consider the issue of price changes or change the design of the iPhone in 2019," said Daniel in a note to investors.

"This is meant to increase the activity that went from fiscal year 2019 (fiscal year 19) to fiscal year 2010 (fiscal year 20)," he continued.

Currently, the price of the three new iPhones launched last September is between 10 and 16 million RPD. Although the design is not so different from the iPhone X released in 2017.

The suggestion of Daniel Ives concerning this change of conception is inversely proportional to the forecasts of the badyst Apple, Ming-Chi Kuo. According to him, it is unlikely that Apple will change the design of the iPhone in 2019.

Ming-chi Kuo is himself an badyst who can accurately predict all the ins and outs of Apple products, such as the development of Apple's business and products, especially the iPhone.

city KompasTekno of Cultofmac, Friday (30/11/2018), however, Ming-Chi Kuo did not comment on the suggestion of price cuts.

Apple itself is having trouble selling the last three iPhone introduced in September. The three phones are the iPhone XS, the iPhone XS Max and the iPhone XR.

This is complicated by the lack of pbadion of the global smartphone market and the low demand for new iPhones in the Chinese market. Since a few days ago, Apple was known to have begun to reduce its sales targets.

In Japan, Apple has also begun to cut prices for iPhone XR devices with significant discounts. This rebate can be granted to users by subsidizing Apple's mobile phone partners in this country.

Apple's target is currently below badysts' expectations, which should target revenues between 89 and 95 billion US dollars (about 1,297 billion rupees for 1,386 billion rupees) in October-December 2018.
