JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The third session of resolution of the disputes resulting from the 2019 presidential election to the Constitutional Court (MK) lasted almost 20 hours.

In accordance with the schedule, the hearing started on Wednesday (19/06/2019) at 09:00 and was completed on Thursday (20/06/2019) at 04:55 WIB, with the agenda including the Hearing witnesses and the expert statements made by the applicant.

The legal team of the pair of vice presidential candidates number 02 Prabowo Subianto-Sandiaga Uno presented 14 witnesses and 2 experts.

Although one witness, namely Haris Azhar, did not want to attend the meeting by addressing a letter to the President of the Constitutional Court.

In essence, all witnesses and experts provided information regarding the arguments of the filed motion about allegations of structured, systematic and mbadive fraud in the implementation of the presidential election.

The trial contesting the election results will resume Thursday (20/06/2019) at 13:00 (Brussels time).

As a first step, the president of the Constitutional Court, Anwar Usman, will resume his work at 10 am WIB. But on the proposal of the defendant and bound Anwar finally decided on the session at 13:00 WIB.

As for the follow-up session, the panel of judges and all parties will hear the testimony of witnesses and experts presented by the General Election Commission (KPU).

"The discussion on the results of the 2019 presidential and vice-presidential elections will begin at 1 pm," said Anwar at the end of the session.
