Then, the KPU was ordered to make a new decision regarding the list of DPO candidates by entering the name OSO.

In the decision, the KPU was communicated three days after the execution of the decision.

This case began when the KPU asked the OSO to submit a letter of resignation from the leadership of political parties until Friday (12/21/2018). This was communicated by the KPU by written letter.

This letter of resignation is necessary for the requirements to be appointed OSO member of the DPO in the 2019 elections.

The KPU again gave OSO the opportunity to be included on the list of candidates in response to the decision of the Constitutional Court and the decision of the State Administrative Court (PTUN).

However, until the expiry of the time limit, the Office for Assistance also did not submit a letter of resignation.

The KPU has decided not to include the party concerned in the list of permanent candidates for DPO members.

KPU based its decision on the decision of the Constitutional Court No. 30 / PUU-XVI / 2018, which prohibits the general chairmen of political parties to simultaneously hold DPO memberships.
