Bela Lorenzo, Mark Call Critics Not Comprehensive On Athletes

SEPANG, KOMPAS.com – Marc Marquez, Repsol Honda rider, defended Ducati rider Jorge Lorenzo against criticism.

Lorenzo was criticized because he had never recovered and that he had become competitive again. Lorenzo is injured and has missed four MotoGP races.

Knowing various criticisms addressed to Lorenzo, Marquez commented.

"We are all talking about a runner who drove to Assen 24 hours after being operated on the collarbone," Marquez reportedly told the newspaper. BolaSport.com of MarcaOn Tuesday (6/11/2018).

Marquez also objected if Lorenzo had been overtaken earlier than the list of competitive MotoGP riders.

"It is true that if nothing is at stake, more comments will emerge," Marquez said.

"I think that the people who removed Lorenzo from the list of competition runners know nothing about the athletes," he added.

Currently, the 2018 MotoGP no longer has a series, namely Valencia Moto8 2018. Lorenzo's state of health is not certain to be able to participate in the race the November 18. (Bayu Nur Cahyo)
