Boss of 3 big agencies in South Korea formerly famous stars of K-pop

KOMPAS.com – K-pop fans certainly know that in South Korea, three big agencies dominate the entertainment world in the country of Ginseng. They are SM Entertainment, YG Entertainment and JYP Entertainment.

Names like Super Junior, BIGBANG, EXO, TWICE, BLACKPINK are some of the best idol groups from the three agencies called the Big 3.

However, who would have thought that the leaders of each Big 3 agency also turned out to be a famous singer in his day.

Call it Lee Soo Man, leader of SM Entertainment. Before creating the agency in 1989, Soo Man debuted as a singer in 1972.

The hits include "Happiness" and "One Piece of Dream". In addition to singing, Soo Man was also a DJ presenter and TV presenter.

Finally, Park Jin Young, director of JYP Entertainment. Park Jin Young debuted as a solo singer in 1994 with a hit called "Do not Leave Me".

Two years earlier, Jin Young had joined a group of idols called Park Jin-Young and the new generation, but had less success. Since its inception, Park Jin Young has spawned seven studio albums and four mini-albums.
