The technology giant, creator of Google Fi, aims to allow mobile users to switch more quickly from one cellular network to another.

The most interesting thing about Google Fi is the fact that cellular services can now be used on Android phones and Apple iPhones. In fact, originally, Google Fi can only be used on Google mobile phones.

But this is apparently not the first time the Fi network can be used on Apple devices The Verge. Previously, users could only use the SIM card data on iPad as a secondary device. And technically, SIM Fi still works on the iPhone, as long as the user adjusts the data settings of the phone.

But now, Google directly supports the iPhone to attract new customers, although support is only available in beta and requires "several additional steps to prepare it." There will be a new Google Fi iOS app to make the process easier.

Specifically, users will no longer be able to use the Visual Voicemail application, but will switch to using iMessage. iOS will not automatically pull the MMS and data connection, but it only works with a few copy-and-paste settings.

For Android phones, the settings are a lot easier. Even if they use Fi instead of a more traditional operator, users need to understand that all customer support is provided online or by phone.

Google Fi is a virtual virtual network operator (MVNO).

The services used by users actually come from larger operators; Fi uses T-Mobile, Sprint and US Cellular as the spine. However, Google Fi still has a number of things to do with other operators when it is connected to other features, including support for Universal RCS profiles for sending. messages and numbers to connect to various things, such as the LTE smartwatch.

In addition to speed, Google Fi has the advantage that its price is much cheaper than cellular networks in general.

This service costs only $ 20 for unlimited use of the phone line and $ 10 for each use of the Internet. In fact, the remaining cellular data can be accumulated or recovered.
