JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The Commission for the Eradication of Corruption (KPK) examined the Executive Vice President in charge of Corporate Communications and CSR of PT PLN (Persero) I Supr Suprka, as a witness to the 39, former presumed general secretary of Golkar, Idrus Marham.
Idrus is a suspect in alleged corruption related to a cooperation contract for the construction of PLTU Riau-1 in the province of Riau.
KPK spokesman, Febri Diansyah, said the review of Suprateka would deepen the so-called meeting of vice chairman of the House Committee of Representatives, VII Eni Maulani Saragih, and the director PT PLN, Sofyan Basir.

"The deepening of the witness's knowledge in connection with the alleged meeting was linked to the debate on the PLTU Riau-1 project, and we saw how much his knowledge included meetings attended by representatives of PT PLN and ES (Eni Maulani Saragih), director, "Febri at the Red and White House of the Commission for the Eradication of Corruption, Jakarta, Tuesday (27/11/2018).
Some points were explored as to when the meeting took place and the context of the discussion at the meeting.

In addition to Eni, the KPK has also named as a suspect a businessman and one of the shareholders of Blackgold Natural Resources Limited, Johannes Budisutrisno Kotjo. He is suspected of being a bribe.

According to KPK, Eni allegedly received a bribe of 4.8 billion rupees, which represents a commission of 2.5% of the contract value of 35,000 megawatts.
The alleged corruption of the KPK has been reported so that the process of signing the cooperation related to the construction of the unit PLTU Riau-1 is running smoothly.
Under development, the KPK also named the former suspect of Golkar party secretary general Idrus Marham.
Idrus would have known and agreed to give bribes to Eni Maulani.
In addition, Johannes Kotjo promised US $ 1.5 million to Idrus.
