JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Speech by candidate number 02 Prabowo Subianto at the inauguration of the office of the winning body of Prabowo-Sandi at Boyolali Regency, Central Java, Tuesday (10/30/2018), has a long line.

The video recording of the speech was viral because, in one part, Prabowo mentioned the words "Boyolali's gaze".

In his speech Prabowo said that Jakarta was filled with high-rise buildings and luxury hotels.

He mentioned several star hotels in the capital. However, he was convinced that the people of Boyolali had never set foot in this luxury hotel.

"But I'm sure you have never been to these hotels, okay?" Asked Prabowo.

"If you come in, maybe you will be deported, because you do not look like a rich person, but this boy, yes, that Boyolali look, n '. is this not?" Prabowo said again.

Demo and reported to the police

As a result of this statement, a Boyolali-born man named Dakun reported Prabowo to the Metro Jaya Regional Police.

He said that Prabowo's remarks had offended the inhabitants of Boyolali.

"I was from Boyolali." We were shocked by Mr. Prabowo's words that the Boyolali community, if it entered the mall or hotel, was expelled because it looked like Boyolali. "said Dakun.

Meanwhile, in Boyolali, thousands of residents invaded the Mahesa Boyolali convention center on Sunday (4/11/2018).

They protested Prabowo's statement, which allegedly degraded the citizens of Boyolali.

Residents intervened in convoys on the motorcycle road carrying banners #SaveTopangBoyolali.

In fact, residents also paraded in front of a giant red and white 50 x 10 meter flag around the road to show Boyolali citizens that they were Indonesian citizens.

Judged politicized

Despite all the turmoil, the politicians supporting Prabowo-Sandiaga spoke.

National Party Secretary-General Eddy Soeparno said Prabowo's speech was politicized.

Eddy feared that all of Prabowo's words would always be followed by a political response.

"I'm afraid that everything that is said is not subject to politicization.Khuznudzon, prejudiced for every word and speech, "said Eddy.
